在這個世代，多數人對臺語文字感到陌生。雖然臺語仍然活躍於日常對話之中，但由於書寫系統長期缺乏普及與教育推廣，使得文字與語言之間產生斷裂，逐漸形成「能聽卻不會說、能說卻難以書寫」的困境。語言因此停留在口語層次，難以被完整記錄與傳承，也讓臺語文化的深度與細膩之處逐漸流失。在這樣的背景下，我們試圖重新思考語言學習的起點，回到最基礎也最直覺的方式——「習字帖」與傳統的「習字本」練習形式，透過反覆書寫與視覺記憶，加深對文字的認識。
進一步結合「圖像記憶學習法」，將抽象的臺語文字轉化為具象的圖像符號，讓學習者能透過聯想與視覺刺激，加速記憶與理解。同時，設計趣味化的互動裝置，讓使用者在操作、聆聽與書寫的過程中，重新建立對臺語文字的感知與連結。透過這樣的方式，不僅降低學習門檻，也提升參與動機，使臺語文字不再只是遙遠或艱澀的符號，而成為可以被體驗、被感受的文化媒介。
希望藉由設計，讓臺灣人在熟悉的語言聲音之外，重新認識其書寫形式，逐步縮短語言與文字之間的距離，並在當代生活中重新找回臺語文字的價值與可能性。
In this generation, most people are unfamiliar with written Taiwanese. Although the language remains active in everyday speech, the long-standing lack of a widely adopted writing system and formal education has created a disconnect between spoken language and written text. This has led to a growing dilemma: people can understand and speak the language, yet struggle to write it. As a result, Taiwanese often remains confined to the oral domain, making it difficult to fully document and pass on, while the depth and nuance of its cultural expression gradually diminish.
In response, this project reconsiders the starting point of language learning by returning to its most fundamental and intuitive form—the character-practice copybook and traditional handwriting practice. Through repetition and visual memory, it aims to strengthen familiarity with written forms.
