台灣這座島嶼，具有十一種不同土壤的獨特性，靜靜地扮演著「微型地質博物館」的角色。我們始終相信，土地不只是承載萬物的物質，更是一份情感的寄託。本計畫《島嶼地息》以土地關懷為初衷，專為遠行的旅伴與外國友人設計，希望將這份厚實的大地情感，轉化為一份可以跨越國界、隨身珍藏的「嗅覺回憶」。
在設計的核心理念上，我們選擇了最具本能連結的「嗅覺」作為橋樑，並運用「風土 (Terroir)」的轉譯藝術，細膩地捕捉地底深處的養分與生命力。我們並不刻意臨摹泥土的潮濕，而是萃取特定風土所孕育出的作物與地景意象。當您嗅聞時，彷彿能看見北投大屯火山的硫磺煙霧、感受北門井仔腳鹽田的鹹鮮海風、或是漫步在東勢丘陵的果木芬芳與長濱沿海的稻米香氣中。這些香氣不再只是抽象的芬芳，而是引領靈魂重返台灣特定角落的情感線索。
在產品的呈現上，我們力求感官的完整共鳴。透過模擬土壤生成的 DIY 禮盒、延續記憶的線香與隨身噴霧，建構出多維度的體驗模式。視覺與觸覺同樣充滿驚喜，包裝紙材中混入了細微的礦物土質，讓指尖能真實摩挲地層的顆粒感。這是一場溫柔的土地轉譯運動。透過這份「可攜帶的嗅覺記憶」，我們讓台灣的風土不再受限於地理位置，而是能隨著每個人的腳步，在世界各地溫暖綻放。
Taiwan is a "Micro-Geological Museum" with 11 major soil types. "The Scent of Formosa" transforms cold geological data into portable "olfactory memories" for travelers and the diaspora. Using a "Terroir" translation strategy, we capture the essence of specific landscapes—from the volcanic mists of Beitou to the briny winds of Beimen—turning nutrients into a cohesive visual and olfactory language.
The product system includes DIY kits, incense, and sprays, housed in packaging made of mineral-infused paper to replicate the earth's texture. This initiative is more than a fragrance collection; it is a sensory journey that integrates touch, sight, and scent. By bridging the physical distance through aroma, we allow the soul of Taiwan to be carried and cherished globally, reconnecting people with the warmth of the land.
