這項計畫旨在因應自閉症譜系障礙診斷率逐年上升的趨勢，並試圖填補這些孩童的需求與現有空間環境之間日益擴大的鴻溝。目前多數教育與治療場所仍是以神經典型兒童的視角進行開發，普遍缺乏對感官調節、行為節奏以及心理社交安全感的深度考量。
本計畫的核心理念植根於空間即治療，將建築的角色從單純的功能性容器轉化為癒合與學習過程中的積極參與者。我們將建築視為一種具備支持性、引導性且能產生共鳴的介質，讓自閉症孩童在其中能感受到被理解與保護。
在少子化現象日益嚴重的現代社會，自閉症孩童在兒童人口中的占比反而持續增加，這使得建立具備包容性與專門性的特殊環境變得刻不容緩。設計團隊希望透過重新思考空間秩序與感官體驗，打破傳統環境對特殊需求孩童的限制，利用材質、光線、動線與聲學環境的精準調控，打造出一個能夠與孩童情緒產生連結的互動場域，讓建築成為輔助治療的一環，幫助孩子在最自在的狀態下探索世界並建立自信。
This project responds to the rising number of children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and the growing gap between their needs and existing spatial environments. Most current educational and therapeutic spaces are designed for neurotypical children, lacking sensitivity to sensory regulation, behavioral rhythms, and the need for social security.
Grounded in the concept of “space as therapy,” this design redefines the role of architecture as an active participant in the healing and learning process. Rather than serving merely as a functional container, space is envisioned as a supportive, guiding, and responsive medium that helps children feel understood and secure.
In the context of declining birth rates, the proportion of children with ASD continues to increase, highlighting the urgency for more inclusive and specialized environments.
