癲癇是一種常見的慢性神經系統疾病,患者會因大腦神經元異常放電而引發突發性發作,其症狀可能包括意識喪失、肢體抽搐、跌倒等。此類發作通常無預警,且伴隨極高的風險,若在無人陪伴或危險場域中發作,極易導致受傷甚至死亡。由於癲癇無法靠外觀識別,患者在生活中常被誤解或忽視,加上發作時間難以預測,使得病患本身與照護者長期處於不安與焦慮之中。基於這些觀察,目標是設計一款能隨時監測腦波並提供預警功能的簡便可穿戴式腦波監測頭套。本設計提出一款智慧型腦波監測頭套,結合可攜式腦電波感測技術與行動裝置通訊功能,使患者即使身處非醫療場域,也能持續追蹤腦電活動,並透過演算法預測發病風險。當裝置偵測到異常活動時,將主動發出警示訊號,並即時通知緊急聯絡人,爭取處置時間,保障患者安全。此設計強調穿戴的舒適性、穩定性與科技整合性,適用於患者的日常生活、工作與外出場景。頭套將搭配行動裝置 App 進行數據同步與視覺化,讓使用者與照護者能清楚掌握病況,並提供發作記錄以作為後續醫療參考。透過這項產品的開發,期望不僅提升癲癇患者的生活安全與自主性,也減輕家屬與照護者的心理負擔,實現真正落實於生活的智慧健康管理。
Epilepsy is a common chronic neurological disorder, a sudden seizures triggered by abnormal electrical activity in the brain. The goal is to design a wearable EEG monitoring headgear that can monitor brain waves and provide early warnings. This design proposes a smart EEG monitoring headgear that combines portable EEG sensing technology with mobile device communication capabilities. It continuously tracks brain activity and predicts seizure risk through algorithms. When the device detects abnormal activity, it immediately notifies emergency contacts. This design emphasizes comfort, stability, and technological integration, making it suitable for patients' daily lives. The headgear will be paired with a APP for data synchronization and visualization, and will provide seizure records for medical reference. Through the development of this product, it is hoped that the safety and autonomy of epilepsy patients will be improved and achieved smart health management in daily life.
