香氣 ,是喚醒記憶最深處的鑰匙。《堆香流韻》不只是一件薰香托,更是一場關於「客家氣質」的當代轉譯。我們試圖捕捉源自伙房、田野與敬字亭間的安定氣息,將其凝練於案頭之上,透過「堆、香、流韻」三段式演繹,讓無形的文化藉由嗅覺重返現代生活。

堆 (The Pile) —歷史的厚度
設計語彙汲取六堆聚落的團結精神。以層疊沉穩的量體造型,隱喻客家先民「耕讀傳家」的堅實根基。不僅是承載香體物理基座,更承托族群集體記憶的歷史土壤,展現「敬天惜地」的厚重底蘊。

香 (The Scent) —精神的昇華
香是溝通天地的媒介。我們將客家敬神祭祖的莊嚴氛圍轉化為嗅覺體驗,引導煙氣在靜止器物上演繹動態生命力。這股香氣,象徵著客家人在動盪歷史中,始終保持內斂而堅韌的安定力量。

流韻 (The Flow) —文化的擴散
核心隱喻:利用氣味的「擴散性」詮釋文化的「傳播力」。正如香氣自然滲透空間,六堆文化亦應優雅地介入當代場域。當煙霧繚繞,客家的硬頸精神化為繞指柔,帶領使用者展開一場從「看見文化」到「呼吸文化」的感官旅程。

Fragrant and melodious

Aroma is a powerful medium that awakens deep memories. “Pile of Fragrance and Flowing Charm” is not merely an incense holder, but a contemporary interpretation of the Hakka spirit. Inspired by scenes such as the kitchen, fields, and calligraphy pavilion, the design captures and condenses these tranquil atmospheres onto the tabletop. Through the concepts of “piling,” “fragrance,” and “flowing charm,” it transforms intangible culture into a sensory experience that reconnects tradition with modern life.

The project translates Hakka culture into modern product language by embedding historical meaning within a refined object. It emphasizes scent as a key to deepening cultural experience—while vision stays on the surface, aroma reaches the soul. By using fragrance as an entry point, it lowers the barrier to cultural understanding, allowing cultural essence to flow naturally within contemporary life.
