壹、重返八德本義
「忘八端」因以訛傳訛成為「王八蛋」，「八端」意指八德，忠、孝、仁、愛、信、義、和、平。於當代語境裡，八德時常被簡化為口號，逐漸被疏忽、不被重視。本設計希望透過設計重新詮釋，保留核心價值，以日常生活用品為載體，重新詮釋八德，使其成為能被理解、感知與實踐的生活價值。
貳、以鑑識角度檢視日常
本設計以「鑑識」為核心，將自我檢視比擬為搜查證物，透過此一視角，我們將鑑識工具轉化為日常生活用品，引導使用者以「檢視」的方式重新發現日常中的八德意涵。如放大鏡轉化為手拿鏡，對應「忠」，象徵看清自我、忠於內心而不盲從；試管轉化為漱口水，對應「信」，傳達誠信如痕跡檢驗般清晰可辨；指紋粉末轉化為痱子粉，對應「愛」，使細微卻真實的關懷與付出得以被看見。
參、從包裝延伸概念，讓八德走入生活
包裝設計延續整體概念，以鑑識工具箱為發想，強化整體概念的系統性。
旅行組採八邊形結構，呼應八德意象，象徵其與生活緊密相扣。透過產品、包裝與情境的整合，我們希望重新喚起大眾對八德的理解，使其不再只是傳統教條，而是成為融入日常的生活實踐。
I. Returning to the Original Meaning of the Eight Virtues
Forsaken Virtue became associated with Wang Ba Dan, an insult roughly equivalent to “bastard.” Its original meaning refers to the Eight Virtues—loyalty, filial piety, benevolence, love, integrity, righteousness, harmony, and peace—which are now often reduced to slogans and overlooked.
II. Examining Everyday Life Through a Forensic Lens
Using forensics as its core concept, the project frames self-examination as evidence collection. Forensic tools are transformed into everyday objects, prompting users to rediscover the Eight Virtues through inspection and reflection: a magnifying glass becomes a handheld mirror for loyalty, and a test tube becomes mouthwash for integrity.
III. Extending the Concept Through Packaging
Inspired by a forensic toolkit, the packaging reinforces the concept. The travel set adopts an octagonal structure, symbolizing the Eight Virtues and their integration into daily life.
