材料不因破碎、耗盡或被棄置而結束其生命週期。本產品製作目的在於透過鑲嵌玻璃與再生紙兩種再生材質的實際應用，驗證廢棄材料於產品設計中的可行性與表現潛力，透過「再組合」與「再製造」兩種工藝思維，探索回收素材在第二生命階段所能形成的視覺語境，以作品呈現材料從破碎到重生的轉化歷程。重新詮釋材料在使用後仍具備延續可能的觀點，整理可重複應用之製作流程與設計邏輯，作為未來再生材質產品開發的參考基礎，材料的再生並非被動修補，而是一種積極反思物質價值與創造方式的策略，我們也將藉由成品呈現材料轉化後的質地、光影與觸感層次，使再生材料不僅具備功能性，更能傳達其環境價值與工藝意義。讓作品更有溫度及重新思考物質價值與創造方式的回應，同時進一步探討再生材質與當代工藝中的表現可能及文化意義。
Materials do not end their life cycle simply because they are broken or discarded. This project explores the use of recycled glass and paper to examine the feasibility and expressive potential of waste materials in product design. Through the craft approaches of reassembly and remanufacturing, it investigates how reclaimed materials can form a new visual language in their second life, providing a reference for future development of recycled products.
Material regeneration is not a passive repair, but an active strategy to rethink material value and creative processes. The final works present the transformed textures, light, shadow, and tactile qualities of recycled materials, allowing them to go beyond functionality and convey environmental and craft significance. Ultimately, the project aims to bring warmth to the objects while exploring the possibilities and cultural meaning of recycled materials in contemporary craft.
