傳統的祭祀建築往往透過封閉的實體與厚重的量體來營造肅穆感，卻也在無形中築起了生者與逝者之間的心理高牆，讓思念變得沈重且壓抑。本設計起源於一個最純粹的提問：「為什麼面對最親愛的家人，我們卻會感到恐懼？」
我們試圖打破這層隔閡，將建築轉化為一場洗滌心靈的儀式。透過兩次漸進的沉澱機制，起點在於身體的釋壓，讓疲憊且緊繃的軀殼在行進的過渡空間中逐步放鬆；隨之而來的，是藉由光影變化與自然對話所引導的心靈靜謐。
在這裡，沒有刻意營造的死寂，而是利用空間的留白，允許真實的情感自由流淌——或許是溫馨的緬懷，或許是會心一笑的回憶。我們運用瞬息萬變的光影作為時間的刻度，在牆面上刻劃出永恆與當下的對話。當你踏入這片「留白之地」，心中湧起的不再是畏怯，而是平和與一份深沉的連結。我們想徹底打破死亡的僵硬界線，讓懷念不再是遙遠且陌生的儀式，而是像涓涓細流般融進生活的每一天，在日常的行走與駐足間，溫柔地滋養著每一顆思念的心田。
Traditional memorial architecture often relies on heavy, enclosed forms to create solemnity, yet this inadvertently constructs a psychological barrier. Our design begins with a singular question: "Why should we feel trepidation when facing our most beloved kin?"
We aim to dissolve this wall, transforming space into a ritual of emotional cleansing. This journey is defined by a dual-stage progression: it begins with corporeal release, allowing physical tension to dissolve within transitional paths; followed by a spiritual stillness guided by the interplay of light and shadow.
Here, there is no forced silence, only a "void" that allows authentic emotions to flow. We seek to break the rigid boundaries of death, making remembrance a gentle nourishment that flows through daily life like a perennial stream, quietly sustaining the heart.
