This story is set in a stylized monochrome world within an isolated tower, where a ruling authority governs the black-and-white realm and seals away all color.
One day, a young boy uncovers a hidden bookshelf and discovers a crystal imbued with color deep within the tower. When it shatters, color fuses with him, granting him its magic. As he begins to create, he experiences the freedom of artistic expression for the first time, disrupting the world’s rigid order.
The ruling authority returns, takes back the color, and attempts to restore everything to black and white. During the conflict, the boy is cursed and transformed into a chameleon able to merge with color. He escapes the tower, and wherever he goes, color spreads, gradually awakening the world.
Through the boy’s perspective, this work explores the tension between control and creative freedom, reflecting the journey of those who confront restriction and choose to reshape their reality.
