本作品以「即時保護、直覺使用」為核心理念,針對幼兒在地震等突發災害中反應能力有限、情緒易受驚嚇的情境,提出一套融入日常教室環境的防震防護設計。台灣地震頻繁,每年約發生 2 萬至 4 萬次地震,其中約有 700 至 2,000 次為有感地震,幼兒園防災安全因而成為重要課題。然而,現行多以躲入桌下作為主要避難方式,在混齡教室與空間受限的情況下,幼童常因桌下高度不足、身形差異或動作不熟悉,無法迅速完成正確避難姿勢,進而增加受傷風險。此外,防震頭套等設備多集中收納於教室周邊,災害發生時需離開掩護位置取用,難以及時提供保護,也提高避難過程中的混亂與危險性。
本設計重新思考幼兒園桌椅的使用形式,將避難功能、防護設備與日常學習情境整合於同一系統中,讓幼童能在熟悉環境中自然而直覺地完成避難行為,降低額外學習與操作負擔。設計過程納入幼兒身形差異、人因尺度、使用便利性與心理安全感等考量,期望在災害發生的黃金時間內提供即時且有效的保護,同時減輕教師引導與維持秩序的壓力,提升整體避難效率,建立兼具安全性、實用性與情感安定的幼兒園防震防護系統。
The BaoHu Seismic Learning Desk integrates earthquake protection with everyday learning furniture. Its design features a rapid lift mechanism that instantly raises the desktop during an earthquake, expanding the under-desk evacuation space and allowing children to complete evacuation actions more smoothly. The desk also incorporates storage for protective headgear beneath the surface, enabling children to access safety equipment quickly during sheltering, improving evacuation efficiency. Additionally, the desk leverages an educational interface and character IP system to support disaster education, making it easier for children to understand and remember safety procedures. In this way, the desk serves not only as an evacuation tool but also as a daily educational resource for earthquake preparedness.
