The Egg Rebirth Project is an educational kit that transforms discarded eggshells into biodegradable seedling pots, making sustainability a hands-on experience. It uses a material formula combining eggshell powder, citrus fiber, starch, and paper pulp, provided in standardized kits for easy classroom use.
Students follow a process of mixing, heating, kneading, molding, and low-temperature baking, allowing them to see how recycled materials become functional objects while developing practical skills.
After planting, the pots can be placed directly into the soil, where they decompose naturally, completing a waste-free resource cycle. By linking material transformation with plant growth, the project offers a clear understanding of sustainability.
Through this experience, students learn that environmental responsibility is something they can practice, fostering awareness of circular design and resource reuse.
