This project focuses on sixteen common bird species in Zhongdu Wetland, with the goal of making birdwatching more accessible for beginners. In collaboration with the Kaohsiung Wild Bird Society, the design responds to the common questions and needs of novice birdwatchers through clear visual communication.
The project includes a birdwatching route map, bird information cards, and a storage box, forming an integrated support system for birdwatching. Through route guidance, card-based identification, and a structured labeling system, users can recognize and understand bird species more efficiently in the field.
Visually, the project adopts a clean and approachable design language, using low-saturation natural colors and balanced white space to reflect the calm atmosphere of the wetland. Realistic yet simplified bird illustrations, together with color coding and clear information hierarchy, improve readability, recognition, and overall user experience.
