While the world is on the brink of being submerged, the newspaper headlines stubbornly declare the weather as “fair and sunny.” The Frogswell Daily is a claymation that blends social observation with visual metaphors to explore two hidden crises of modern society: sea-level rise and the spread of fake news. The story is told through the eyes of a newspaper carrier, who uncovers the absurdity of a small town where residents, lulled by misinformation, carry on with their lives in blissful indifference. As the protagonist discovers anomalies along his daily paper route, the steadily rising water contrasts sharply with the villagers' apathy. Centered around the "boiling frog" metaphor, the film captures a surreal and nonsensical atmosphere where everything appears normal, yet everything has already gone wrong, urging the audience to reflect on our collective silence and information disorder in the face of impending disaster.
