Only by experiencing life’s bittersweet moments can one truly taste its essence. Tears are the most honest human response, carrying emotions and stories yet to be spoken.
Centered on “colorless emotion, formed taste,” this project transforms tears into candies that can be slowly savored, giving form to feelings that are often hard to express. The act of tasting becomes a way to rediscover emotions, revisit overlooked moments, and learn to gently embrace oneself.
Returning to the origin of emotion, the candies remain colorless and transparent, symbolizing a state free from labels. Based on Robert Plutchik’s Wheel of Emotions, the real stories of 24 participants are translated into delicate textures and layered flavors. Through the interplay of visual and gustatory experiences, the work invites reflection, reconciliation with vulnerability, and the formation of a deeper, more tender emotional connection.
