將臺灣溫泉從觀光消費的既定印象中重新定位為可被感知的地下能源系統。臺灣位於板塊交界，孕育出多樣且差異鮮明的溫泉型態，然而其地質成因與能量特性，長期被簡化為泡湯體驗而未被理解 。
取四種代表性溫泉地質作為標的，包括蘇澳冷泉、北投青磺泉、關子嶺泥漿溫泉與綠島海底溫泉，設計以「地層裂隙、岩石紋理、流動痕跡」為核心語彙，透過實地調查與地質分析，將泉水湧動、礦物結構與能量流動轉譯為視覺系統與物件形式。以岩石造型手工皂為媒介，結合色彩、標準字與裂縫圖像，建立對應不同泉種的視覺識別；包裝結構上則以開闔、翻轉結構呈現能量自地層向外擴散的動態，使抽象地質過程轉化為可被閱讀的視覺敘事。
《島泉間》重構人們對溫泉的理解方式——從「使用資源」轉為「感知能量」。透過產品、包裝與資訊設計的整合，讓日常清潔行為成為理解地熱、連結土地的入口，將抽象的地質現象轉化為具體的生活經驗，讓設計成為理解臺灣自然地景的一種途徑，進而建立人與環境之間更貼近的關係，並提出視覺設計介入自然與文化議題的新可能。
Reposition Taiwan’s hot springs from tourism consumption to a perceptible underground energy system. Located on a tectonic boundary, Taiwan hosts diverse geothermal types, yet their geological origins and energy properties are often simplified as bathing experiences.
Focusing on four representative systems—Su’ao Cold Spring, Beitou Green Sulfur Spring, Guanziling Mud Hot Spring, and Zhaori Seawater Hot Spring—the project develops a design language based on fissures, rock textures, and flow traces. Through research and analysis, mineral structures and energy movement are translated into visual systems and object forms. Rock-shaped handcrafted soaps integrate color, typography, and crack imagery to build identities, while packaging uses opening and flipping structures to express energy emerging from underground.
“Island Springs” reframes hot springs from resource use to energy perception, turning daily cleansing into a way to understand geothermal energy and reconnect with the land.
