EZDRUM 是一款為高齡者設計的直覺式節奏互動裝置，透過感測技術與即時聲光回饋，降低音樂與節奏學習的門檻。傳統節奏學習多依賴樂理基礎與教師指導，使許多長者在學習過程中容易產生挫折與距離感。而EZDRUM 透過光學引導與拍擊感測，將抽象的節奏概念轉化為可透過身體動作理解的互動體驗，讓使用者即使沒有音樂基礎，也能輕鬆參與節奏活動。
本設計以「降低認知負擔」與「建立正向互動循環」為核心策略。使用者只需依照燈光提示進行拍擊，系統便會即時回饋聲音與光效，使動作與節奏形成直觀連結，進而提升學習動機與參與感。裝置整合拍擊感測模組、LED 光學提示與簡易操作介面，可調整音量、節奏速度與學習模式，並透過顯示介面回顧練習成果與學習進度。
EZDRUM 適用於居家照護、日照中心與長照機構等場域，也能支援教師或照護人員進行多人同步節奏活動。透過直覺操作與即時回饋，讓長者能更自然地參與音樂學習，同時促進手部協調與社交互動，提供更友善且具包容性的健康老化設計方案！
EZDRUM is an intuitive rhythm interaction device designed for older adults, aiming to lower the barriers to rhythm and music learning through sensing technology and real-time audiovisual feedback. By following illuminated cues and tapping the sensing surface, users receive immediate sound and light responses, allowing them to naturally understand rhythm even without musical experience.
The design focuses on reducing cognitive load and creating a positive interactive learning loop. The device integrates tapping sensors, LED guidance lights, and a simple interface that allows users to adjust volume, tempo, and learning modes while reviewing practice progress through the display.
EZDRUM is suitable for home care, day-care centers, and long-term care facilities. It can also support group rhythm activities led by instructors or caregivers, encouraging music participation, improving hand coordination, and promoting social interaction among older adults.
