伴步成長椅的設計概念是以「陪伴孩子成長的永續家具」為核心，從幼兒學步需求出發，結合玩具收納與後續轉化功能，讓產品不只是短期使用的學步車，而是能隨孩子成長持續陪伴的生活家具。當孩子在不同成長階段有不同使用需求時，產品也能透過結構轉換，從學步車延伸為兒童椅與收納盒，延長物件使用週期，減少浪費，實踐永續設計精神。本作品主要文化意涵呼應中國古代兒童學步器物的文化脈絡。資料顯示，明代《童戲圖》中已可見孩童扶著小車學步的畫面，而古代兒童器物多以木、竹製作，展現自然材質與生活工藝的智慧。設計以此為靈感，將傳統學步器物轉譯為可隨孩子成長而轉化的家具，從學步車延伸為兒童椅與收納盒，讓陪伴、惜物與永續價值在當代生活中延續。
Design Concept
Grow With Me is a sustainable piece of furniture designed to grow with the child. Starting as a baby walker, it integrates toy storage and can later be transformed into a children’s chair and storage box. This extends the product’s life cycle, reduces waste, and reflects the idea of sustainable design through long-term use.
Cultural Significance
This design is inspired by traditional Chinese child-walking devices. Historical images, such as the Ming dynasty painting Tong Xi Tu, show children using small wheeled walking aids, while such objects were often made of wood and bamboo. Based on this cultural context, the design reinterprets the traditional walker into transformable furniture, continuing the values of companionship, cherishing objects, and sustainability in contemporary life.
