本專題以墾丁國家公園與恆春半島的森林護管員為核心主題，透過深入訪談與多元資料整理，試圖全面了解護管員在日常工作中所面對的各項任務與挑戰。內容涵蓋巡山過程中的風險與經驗、野生動物救護的實務案例、病蟲害防治的專業知識，以及在守護自然環境過程中所付出的心力與責任。這些工作不僅需要高度的專業能力，也仰賴長時間的體力投入與對山林的深厚情感。
在蒐集並整理這些第一手故事後，我們將其轉化為視覺設計與圖像敘事，透過插畫、版面設計與視覺語言的呈現，使原本較為艱深或不易被大眾理解的工作內容，變得更加親近且易於閱讀。我們希望藉由具體而生動的故事呈現，讓觀者能夠看見護管員在第一線的真實樣貌，理解他們在維護生態平衡與自然資源中的關鍵角色。
此外，本專題也期望喚起大眾對山林保護議題的關注，重新思考人與自然之間的關係。透過這些故事的傳遞，不僅讓更多人認識森林護管員的職責與付出，也進一步提升社會對自然環境保育的重視，進而促進更永續且負責任的生活態度。
This project focuses on forest rangers in Kenting National Park and the Hengchun Peninsula. Through interviews and research, we explore their roles in mountain patrol, wildlife rescue, pest and disease control, and environmental protection. Their work requires professional knowledge, physical endurance, and a strong sense of responsibility toward nature.
We transform these real-life stories into visual design and graphic narratives, using illustration and visual storytelling to present their work in a more engaging and accessible way. This helps the public better understand the daily challenges and contributions of forest rangers.
Through this project, we aim to raise awareness of forest conservation and highlight the importance of protecting natural ecosystems, while encouraging people to reflect on the relationship between humans and nature and to develop more sustainable attitudes.
