此環境教育館將台灣的颱風議題、路樹防災融合行道樹知識應用於其中。
建築的四個樓層分別對應著人與植物的生長過程，再以其為理念發展出各空間機能，包括活動中心、兒童圖書室、視聽階梯教室、咖啡廳等。並且我們為環境教育館設計專屬指標系統，將標誌轉化為富有生命感的擬人化角色，柔化公共空間的距離感，為兒童與全齡使用者建立直覺且親切的引導體驗，讓指標不再只是方向的指引，而成為陪伴人們理解環境、感受永續的溫暖存在，搭配周邊推廣教育館辦理之活動與講座。
以聖經故事中挪亞方舟為靈感，環境教育館彷彿停泊在城市樹海上的一葉扁舟，下方干欄式架高設計不只通風，更結合地下水箱雨水回收，與旁邊滯洪池搭配，屋頂設有太陽能光電玻璃板與百頁排氣窗，兼顧能源與採光。
是透過CLT木構打造的固碳建築，館內搭配碳匯交易平台：建立「企業與居民認養機制」，企業可透過贊助館內植物養護獲取綠色碳權；居民則可透過參與環境教育課程認養植物「帶綠回家」（Take Green Home），創造可持續的維運經費來源。
這是一座融合教育、防災與永續，守護城市連結居民的環境教育中心。
Concept & Narrative
Inspired by Noah’s Ark, this CLT structure integrates typhoon resilience with arboriculture. Its four levels—Resting, Reviving, Growing, and Blooming—mirror human and plant growth, using character-based wayfinding to bridge nature and community through a warm, intuitive spatial journey.
Architecture & Sustainability
Floating like a "leaf-boat," the elevated design boosts ventilation and rainwater harvesting. A BIPV roof maximizes energy, ensuring disaster-ready resilience and carbon sequestration. Passive cooling and natural light are optimized to maintain a low-carbon footprint within the urban forest.
Circular Economy
A carbon credit platform—linking sponsors with resident adoptions—ensures long-term viability. This resilient hub protects the city via education and sustainability, fostering a deep connection between nature and its people.
