一個位於高雄曾是水上活動與觀光熱絡的港灣場域，在產業與使用型態轉變後，水岸逐漸退回以機能運作為主，人與海之間的距離也隨之拉開。透過觀察現代都市族群的生活節奏，將高強度工作後對放鬆、運動與身心調節的需求，轉化為一條由陸地延伸至海面的空間序列。空間自陸地端的大廳起始，經由中介空間、高位餐飲與海上步道，逐步引導使用者從「觀看海洋」過渡至「貼近並沉浸於海洋之中」，使海不再只是背景風景，而成為可被感知與停留的生活場域。設計並未回復過往高度娛樂化的水上活動形式，而是引入與港區日常相容的低干擾海上體驗，回應後疫情時代對健康與生活平衡的重視。期望透過空間的重新組織，使興達港由過去的熱鬧記憶，轉化為一種內斂而持續的生活能量，重新連結人、海洋與港口之間的關係。
A harbor site in Xingda Port, once a popular destination for water sports and tourism, has gradually shifted back to functional harbor operations as industries and usage patterns changed. As a result, the distance between people and the sea has widened.
Observing the rhythm of modern urban life, the project translates people’s needs for relaxation, exercise, and mental restoration after intense work into a spatial sequence extending from land to sea. Beginning at the lobby on land, the design guides visitors from watching the ocean to approaching and immersing in it through intermediary spaces, dining areas, and sea walkways.
Through this spatial reorganization, the project aims to transform the port from a lively memory of the past into a calm yet continuous energy of everyday life—reconnecting people with the sea and the harbor.
