OMCC是一個針對在中耳炎術後護理可以更加便利及可以降低因為照顧上的疏忽產生併發症機率的耳塞。透過物理且可重複利用的除溼材質和棉花的設計讓術後耳朵裡產生的分泌物及因外在產生的濕氣不要流進耳道裡，讓耳朵傷口處保持乾燥及提升上藥時的便利性。
問題發現:
1. 中耳炎術後上藥時會使用棉籤消毒及清潔傷口與上藥膏，在使用紗布覆蓋於傷口及耳道上，最後以紙膠布固定紗布。
一個月需要花90支棉籤、60-90個紗布、1-2捲紙膠布，需要花費大量的垃圾之外，對環境也造成了傷害。

術後照顧不當會導致慢性感染、長期耳朵分泌物、膿腫的產生。而耳朵與大腦距離相近，嚴重的話會導致顱內症的發生。
3. 術後傷口照顧不當發炎會需要藥物治療。
有效的傷口照護可降低醫療支出與藥物成本。相對地，若照護不當導致發炎，則需要再次進行臨床評估，並使用抗生素介入，以減少感染擴散風險。
