本作品關注高齡者於退休後因社交互動減少而產生的孤獨感與被需要感流失現象，探討在生活機能尚可的情況下，長者仍面臨情感連結不足與社會角色逐漸淡化的問題。相較於現有高齡科技多以監測與照護為核心，本設計提出「溫和介入」的概念，重新思考科技與高齡者之間的互動關係。
CareLink 為一套以陪伴、交流與安全感為核心的高齡互動平台，透過簡化操作流程與貼近日常使用習慣的介面設計，降低科技使用門檻。系統整合「日常陪伴」、「交流分享」與「溫和支持」三項功能，使安全機制自然融入生活情境之中，在不造成監控壓力的前提下提供支持與連結。
本設計期望協助高齡者由被照顧者轉變為主動參與者，重新建立與他人及社群的互動關係，並透過設計回應高齡化社會中情感陪伴與生活尊嚴的需求。
This project addresses the loneliness and loss of social value experienced by older adults after retirement as daily interactions decrease. While many existing aging technologies focus mainly on monitoring and care, this design introduces the concept of “gentle intervention,” rethinking the relationship between technology and older users.
CareLink is an interactive platform centered on companionship, communication, and emotional security. Through simplified operations and familiar interface design, it reduces technological barriers and integrates digital support into everyday life. The platform includes three core functions — Daily Companion, Shared Exchange, and Gentle Support — allowing safety features to exist naturally without creating a sense of surveillance.
The project aims to help older adults shift from passive care receivers to active social participants, rebuilding social connections while responding to emotional and dignity-related needs in an aging society.
