“Threads of Light” reinterprets the story of a traditional embroidery atelier in Tainan through picture book storytelling and audiovisual narration, translating cultural memory into contemporary visual communication. The project integrates hand and digital embroidery to present layered textures and craft aesthetics. Through collaboration with local artisans, traditional techniques are transformed into narrative design. NFC technology further extends static images into interactive audiovisual experiences. By combining storytelling with tactile engagement, the project encourages audiences to see and feel embroidery, bridging tradition and modernity while sustaining cultural value.
