Dear, All Robots is an independent student animated short film that blends 2D and 3D techniques to explore the profound journey of reclaiming one’s passion and true self. The story follows a robot once a dreamer with a lens for photography who has surrendered his aspirations to the grinding gears of a colorless corporate system, where days blur into a monochrome existence of deadlines and repetition. His rigid routine is unexpectedly disrupted by a vibrant, stray orange cat, whose presence reignites the creative fire and warmth of his childhood, shifting his world from grayscale back to vivid color. By juxtaposing mechanical stagnation with artistic rebirth, the film aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goals SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), prompting the audience to reflect on how modern work environments impact mental health and whether, in the pursuit of efficiency, we can still maintain our dignity, creativity, and passion for life.
