本冊收錄四種類型仙人掌的點描手稿，完整保留最原始的繪製痕跡與細膩筆觸。創作過程中，我們以長時間的觀察為基礎，透過反覆描繪，逐步理解仙人掌的外型特徵與生長結構，並將這些細節轉化為點與線的堆疊。這些圖像不經修飾，忠實呈現創作當下的節奏與狀態，使每一筆點描都帶有時間的痕跡與手感的溫度，讓觀看者能更貼近創作本身。
在形式上，我們選擇以明信片作為載體，將原本屬於圖鑑的觀察內容轉化為更輕巧、可被翻閱與收藏的片段。觀者不僅能細細端詳圖像，也能透過分享與傳遞，使這些作品進入日常生活之中。透過這樣的轉換，仙人掌不再只是被研究與分類的對象，而是成為一種可以被感受、被帶走的視覺經驗，讓自然的樣貌以更親近的方式被看見與記錄。
This book presents pointillist sketches of four types of cacti, preserving the original marks and delicate textures of each stroke. Through careful observation and repeated drawing, we explored the external forms and growth structures of cacti, translating them into compositions of dots and lines. The images remain unadorned, capturing the rhythm and state of the creative process. Each mark carries traces of time and the warmth of the hand, allowing viewers to connect more closely with the act of drawing.
Postcards were chosen as the format, transforming content originally intended for an illustrated guide into lighter, more accessible fragments. These works invite close viewing, sharing, and circulation, bringing them into everyday life. Through this shift, cacti move beyond objects of study to become visual experiences that can be felt, kept, and carried, allowing nature to be seen in a more intimate way.
