Why do street trees fall? Instead of relying on cold data, we approach this question from a child’s perspective—transforming complex knowledge into engaging and accessible learning. Through an illustrated handbook, children explore a miniature urban forest, learning to recognize tree characteristics, causes of falling, and basic responses to risk.
This knowledge extends into workshops and interactive materials, guiding children and the public to observe street trees, identify potential hazards, and understand the link between nature and urban safety—making risk visible in everyday life.
Through role-playing and scenario-based simulations, children learn how to respond to falling trees and extreme weather. Starting from a single tree, small actions can grow into a collective force that strengthens urban resilience.
