本創作回應SDGs 12永續消費與生產理念,實踐循環設計概念,以台灣傳統點心麥芽糖為研究核心,利用製作麥芽糖之剩餘廢料製作包裝再生紙,並結合結繩文化與吉祥寓意,透過設計轉譯重建文化連結。作品以視覺傳達設計為基礎,結合包裝設計與插畫創作,將結繩文化與吉祥寓意轉化為插畫風格,並融入角色公仔與食玩包裝系統,形成具故事性與互動性的整體視覺語彙,使產品兼具文化敘事、品牌識別與當代設計語言表現,呈現傳統甜食的新樣貌。
同時,本創作強化包裝設計與永續理念的結合,提升視覺傳達與環境意識的整體價值。未來可進一步朝跨產業合作發展,整合農業生產、副產物再製、包裝設計與文創行銷資源,實現有效循環利用,提升傳統食品的文化辨識度與市場附加價值。藉此,麥芽糖不僅承載童年記憶與人際情感,也成為兼具插畫風格、文化敘事與永續理念的創新設計成果。
This project responds to SDG 12 on sustainable consumption by applying circular design, focusing on traditional Taiwanese malt sugar. Packaging is made from leftover waste, combining knotting culture and auspicious symbols to rebuild cultural connections. Through visual communication, packaging, and illustration, knotting and symbolism become illustrative styles, integrated with character figurines and snack packaging to form an interactive, narrative visual system. This presents traditional sweets in a contemporary design language while promoting sustainability. Future development may include cross-industry collaboration, linking agriculture, by-product recycling, packaging, and cultural marketing to enhance circular use, cultural recognition, and market value. Malt sugar thus carries childhood memories and social connections, becoming an innovative design combining illustration, storytelling, and sustainability.
