台南火車站更新

鐵路地下化後，台南火車站周邊產生了大面積土地，隨之而來古蹟保存、土地開發、交通配套設施整頓、未來發展需求等複雜議題，因此促成了台南火車站的更新需求，公共建築更新的複雜性需要深刻的研究，與實際的台南火車站更新案不同，我嘗試透過大量的研究及縝密的手法推導出台南火車站更新的樣貌，讓所有心繫台灣土地展的人們能夠看到公共建築的另一種可能性。台南火車站是交通基礎建設，亦作為國定古蹟見證台南400年城市發展的歷史，本案的基礎建立於交通基礎建設理性且高效的規劃上，並同時發展歷史與未來空間互動的可能。本案解決了含括交通規劃、土地開發無可避免的需求、尊重歷史的古蹟保存、新舊空間的巧妙互動、材料再利用、提升空間體驗、數位技術模擬及最佳化建築環等，透過縝密的手段將複雜的議題透過空間梳理，將過去與未來的車站在所有面向上無縫融合。

Tainan Station Renovation

The undergrounding of Tainan’s railway has unlocked a vast urban expanse, triggering a critical need to renovate the Tainan Railway Station. This project navigates a complex web of heritage preservation, land development, and infrastructural reorganization. This renovation adopts a rigorous, research-driven methodology to propose an alternative vision for public architecture—one deeply rooted in Taiwan’s cultural landscape. As a National Historic Monument marking 400 years of urban evolution, the station is reimagined not just as a transport hub, but as a space where rational planning meets historical resonance. The proposal integrates diverse challenges—from material reuse and digital simulation to environmental optimization—seamlessly weaving the station’s storied past into its functional future through precise, methodical design.
