Set in the future, technology can extract, reconstruct, and replay human memories, allowing the protagonist to enter their childhood memories and immerse themselves in beautified recollections. During this process, their younger self unintentionally triggers a system bug, revealing that the memories are not as perfect as imagined and causing the virtual world to collapse. As anomalies spread, suppressed trauma from reality resurfaces, forcing the protagonist to confront the conflict between illusion and truth.
Despite this, they continue to cling to the fabricated happiness, showing dependence on escapism.
