過去的臺灣對保育工作關注較少，不過在各界人士的努力之下，近年來的保育工作逐漸有明顯成果，然而，在臺灣一百零五個受威脅物種當中，還有許多大眾能見度低、處境未見好轉的冷門保育類動物存在。不幸的是，各個物種之間在搜尋結果數和新聞數的差異可達數百倍甚至上千倍，顯現不同物種之間在關注程度以及資源上的差距，但不論是知名物種還是冷門動物，每一種生物的滅亡都同樣會影響到自然界的生態。
「動物形」精選九種來自不同類群的動物，為其製作資訊圖表，首先整理來自官方、新聞報導等地方的資訊，將這些內容簡化並轉化成圖文，使讀者更容易閱讀，圖表也附有簡化過的動物圖像以加強特徵。透過資訊圖表，推廣這些鮮少人認識的冷門保育類動物，讓更多人了解除了臺灣黑熊、石虎等明星動物外，臺灣還有這些動物與我們生存在同一片土地上，一樣面臨著威脅和急需保護。
In the past, Taiwan has paid less attention to conserve animal, but because of people from all walks of life, conservation efforts have a small success in recent years. However, Taiwan have one hundred five endangered species, among in these species, many animal still difficult to recognize. Unfortunately, every species have a huge difference in the number of search results and news, the difference can be hundreds or even thousands of times, it's meaning the disparity in attention and resources between species. But whether the species is well-known or no, every species will affect the natural ecosystem as well if demise.
"ANIMAL SHAPE" has selected nine species from different species and produced an information graphics for them. Firstly, it collates information from official sources and news reports, and then simplifies and converts these contents into illustrations to make it easier for readers to read. The information graphics is also have simple animals illustrations to enhance their characteristics. By the information graphics, let more people to known these lesser-known endangered species, be aware of addition to star animals such us Formosa Black Bear and Leopard Cat, many animals still live in Taiwan like us, and understand the threats and urgency that they face.
