本研究創作《余憶》是一款2D的橫向操作、以劇情為主的解謎遊戲,此研究創作重點為 : 雖然注重劇情敘述但想與普通的點擊類視覺小說遊戲有所區別,利用「拼接」與「照相」的核心概念去帶動設計關卡。
劇情則是著重在癌童議題、探索自我和成長。利用遊戲的形式讓玩家更認識癌症患者的處境和心境,無論是患病的無助,還是親人的焦急,亦或是身為手足的孤獨,都是很值得我們去深入了解探討的。
自我成長的部分是偏向於自我情緒探索,人多少有迷茫的時刻,不知道自己要的究竟是什麼,不知道未來在哪裡,對自己的情緒也一知半解,就像是少了螺絲的機器卡住不動了一樣,失去動力的同時也喪失自信,我們想透過主角在事件中逐漸找回自我,了解人生不是只有一條路,是有無限可能的。
The research and creation of "Yu Yi" is a 2D horizontal operation, plot-based puzzle game. The focus of this research and creation is: although it focuses on plot narrative, it wants to be different from ordinary point-and-click visual novel games, and uses the core concepts of "splicing" and "photography" to drive the design of levels. The plot focuses on the issues of children with cancer, self-exploration and growth. Using games to allow players to better understand the situation and mood of cancer patients, whether it is the helplessness of the disease, the anxiety of relatives, or the loneliness of being siblings, are all worthy of our in-depth understanding and discussion.
The self-growth part focuses on the exploration of self-emotions. People sometimes have confused moments. They don’t know what they want, they don’t know where the future is, and they don’t know much about their own emotions. It’s like a machine that is stuck without screws. The feeling of losing motivation is very uncomfortable. We want to use the protagonist to gradually find himself in the incident and understand that life is not just one way, but has infinite possibilities.
