蚊蟲，是一種從恐龍時代便活躍至今的生物，隨著全球氣候暖化，蚊蟲來勢洶洶。我們所生活的臺灣，屬於亞熱帶氣候國家，近年來登革熱疫情逐漸攀升，蚊蟲的防治，一直是生活中不可忽視的議題。本教具旨在於提升國小學童對於蚊蟲的知識認知與防範意識，以「探險家」作為主要核心風格，透過淺顯易懂的系列圖文手冊與立體互動教具，營造活潑有趣的戶外探險氛圍。例如：採用帳篷作為外觀造型靈感的書冊，以及可搭配燈光或放大工具進行檢視的常見蚊蟲標本展示等，有別於生活中常見之官方宣導，讓使用者可以透過情境式主題的互動與引導，逐步揭發關於蚊蟲世界的多元秘辛的同時，增強實踐力與觀察力，望學童能將所學內容從校園帶回家園，為創造更健康的生活環境共同努力。
