The average human intuitive reaction time is approximately 0.36 seconds—a fleeting moment that often defines our first impression of a work. For design students, each spark of inspiration in those 0.36 seconds is the culmination of countless days and nights of dedication.
This exhibition centers around the concept: “From chaos emerges order; from mistakes, aesthetics arise.” It brings together fragments from the creative process, using the exaggerated yet authentic expression of the New Ugly style to present the absurd realities of design life. Each piece is a slice of design; every glance is a collision with a moment of creativity.
The exhibition space is shaped to resemble the everyday work environment of design students—recreating those fleeting moments of inspiration, whether it’s during the early brainstorming struggles, when the computer overheats, or amidst a mess of scattered files. These seemingly trivial instances are, in fact, the driving force behind design’s constant evolution.
In this 0.36-second intuitive encounter, we invite you not only to see the finished works, but to feel the thoughts and emotions that lie behind them. This is more than just an exhibition—it’s a live broadcast of the designer’s soul.
