當因為颱風、短時間強降雨、海水漲潮而淹水時
當地居民有時會誤判逃生時機而受困
或是在撤退時低估水流的高度與速度 而失去生命財產

透過水位傳感器與人工智慧
蒐集淹水時水位的大數據
設計一個可安裝於路燈的水位警示裝置
在全台每個路燈都安裝,形成物聯網
並搭配專用的APP
使當地居民能在水災發生時
即時得知附近水位的升降趨勢
並更準確判斷是否該撤離或是呆在家中等待救援

透過此系統,水位監測數據能夠即時上傳至雲端,並與其他設備聯動,形成全方位的洪水預警機制。警示裝置的設計兼具高可見度與環境適應性,當水位上升時,裝置會自動發出燈光或聲響警示,提高民眾對潛在危險的警覺,避免誤入深水區域。
此外,APP 不僅能顯示當前水位資訊,還能提供水情趨勢分析,協助使用者評估未來可能的風險。透過歷史數據與 AI 演算法的整合,系統可進一步預測特定地點的淹水模式,讓政府與救援單位提前部署應對策略。
此系統不僅能降低洪水帶來的人員傷亡與財產損失,也能提升社區的防災韌性,讓民眾即使面對突發性的極端氣候,也能獲得更安全與智慧的應對方案。未來,該技術可擴展至各種易受水患影響的區域,如地下道、低窪地區與河川沿岸,打造更完善的智慧型災害防治網路。

AI Flood Real-Time Warning System

When flooding occurs due to typhoons, intense short-term rainfall, or rising sea levels, local residents may sometimes misjudge the timing of evacuation and become trapped. They may also underestimate the height and speed of the water flow while retreating, leading to the loss of lives and property.

Using water level sensors and artificial intelligence, we collect big data on water levels during floods. A water level warning device designed to be installed on streetlights will be deployed across Taiwan, creating an Internet of Things (IoT) network. This system will be complemented by a dedicated mobile app, allowing local residents to monitor real-time water level trends during floods. With this information, they can make more accurate decisions on whether to evacuate or stay home and wait for rescue.

Through this system, water level monitoring data can be instantly uploaded to the cloud and integrated with other devices, forming a comprehensive flood warning mechanism. The design of the warning devices ensures high visibility and environmental adaptability. When water levels rise, the devices automatically emit light or sound alerts, enhancing public awareness of potential danger and preventing entry into flood-prone areas.

Additionally, the app not only displays current water level information but also provides trend analysis to help users assess potential future risks. By integrating historical data and AI algorithms, the system can further predict flooding patterns for specific locations, allowing governments and rescue teams to deploy strategies in advance.

This system reduces the risk of casualties and property damage caused by floods and enhances community resilience to disasters. Even in the face of sudden extreme weather events, citizens can benefit from a safer and more intelligent response plan. In the future, this technology can be expanded to areas vulnerable to flooding, such as underground tunnels, low-lying areas, and riverbanks, creating a more comprehensive smart disaster prevention network.
