「零至零」的命名概念是希望駕駛經過高路殺路段降低速度將路殺發生機率降至零，呼應我們第二階段的零件，形成一個無限的循環設計來示意讓生態永續發展。
隨著道路開發頻繁，路殺事件層出不窮，對動物與生態環境造成嚴重影響。為降低事故發生率，我們提出道路警示二階段企劃，在高風險路段設置前後兩道警示，提醒駕駛實際減速慢行，特別是在野生保育動物出沒的區域。
此措施亦能促進社區凝聚力，鼓勵民眾平時觀察並回報路殺狀況，發揮公民科學家的力量，為未來的道路安全與生態保護提供數據支持。
第一階段在駕駛進入高路殺路段前的視覺警示，於駕駛進入路段前設立警示標誌，並在路面繪製當地常見路殺生物圖樣，提醒駕駛減速慢行。
第二階段在距離一百公尺的標線後設置可拆卸式減速坡，並以五個減速坡為一組，利用動物造型突起排列，讓駕駛直觀感受到該路段的野生動物種類。
減速坡在設計上具備安全功能，以圓形突起排列，突起物設有內凹止滑紋，避免車輛行駛時打滑以確保安全。而行車時產生上下起伏的體感，有效促使駕駛減速。
透過「二階段道路警示」，我們不僅能降低路殺風險，也能促進社區共創，讓每位駕駛與居民攜手守護當地生態環境！
The naming concept of ‘Zero to Zero’ is to reduce the speed of drivers passing through high road-kill road sections to reduce the chance of roadkill to zero, echoing our second phase of the component, forming an infinite loop design to signify the sustainable development of the ecosystem.
With the frequent development of roads, road kills are occurring all the time, causing serious impacts on animals and the ecosystem. To reduce the incidence of accidents, we have proposed a two-stage road warning program, whereby front and rear warnings are installed on high-risk roads to remind drivers to slow down, especially in areas where wildlife is found.
This initiative also promotes community cohesion, encourages people to observe and report road kills on a regular basis, and utilizes the power of citizen scientists to provide data to support road safety and ecological conservation in the future.
In the first stage, visual warnings were provided to drivers before entering high road-kill road sections. Warning signs were erected before drivers entered the road sections, and the road surface was painted with pictures of common road-kill organisms in the area to remind drivers to slow down and drive slowly.
In the second stage, removable speed reduction ramps were installed after the 100-metre marking, and five speed reduction ramps were arranged in a group, with animal-shaped protrusions, to give drivers a visual impression of the wildlife species on the road section.
The speed humps are designed with safety features, arranged in the form of rounded protrusions with concave non-slip stripes to prevent the vehicle from skidding while driving to ensure safety. The up and down sensation of driving effectively encourages the driver to slow down.
Through the ‘Stage 2 Road Alert’, we not only reduce the risk of road kill, but also promote community co-creation, so that every driver and resident can work together to protect the local ecological environment!
