「生老病死」是人生必經的階段,但在華人社會,「死亡」仍是禁忌話題,導致許多人在面對生離死別時感到迷惘、不知所措。因此,我們希望透過遊戲,引導玩家思考如何面對「死亡」,並學會珍惜當下。
我們選擇以食物作為串連角色與思念之人的媒介,不單是因為味道能封存記憶,而食物更是情感與心意的具象化。
遊戲關卡分別對應三種與『死亡』相關的主題:親人離世、好友離世,以及被遺忘的死亡。
在遊戲當中玩家會操控主角——蒼唯,去為客人製作他們想要回味的餐點。玩家需要操縱在回憶世界的主角以及現實中的客人進行解謎,透過觸發不同的回憶在時限內收集到所有和料理相關的回憶介質。如果玩家沒有找到所有的主要介質,主角便無法做出客人下單的料理。而是否收集完成所有主要介質以及重要解則將會影響各個關卡結局走向。

Birth, aging, illness, and death are inevitable stages of life. However, in many Chinese communities, death remains a taboo topic, as the older generation believes that discussing it brings misfortune. This cultural avoidance often leads to a lack of emotional preparedness, leaving many feeling lost and helpless when facing the loss of a loved one. Without prior conversations about grief and remembrance, people may struggle to process their emotions or find meaningful ways to say goodbye. To address this, we created a game that encourages players to reflect on death, cherish their memories, and appreciate the time they have with those around them.
We chose food as the central theme of the game, as it serves as more than just sustenance—it carries emotions, memories, and connections. A familiar taste can instantly transport someone back in time, bringing forth vivid recollections of moments shared with loved ones. Food represents warmth, love, and nostalgia, making it the perfect medium for storytelling. Through cooking and sharing meals, we explore how flavors can bridge the gap between the present and the past, allowing people to reconnect with those they have lost.

The game is structured into three chapters, each focusing on different aspects of death: the loss of family members, the loss of beloved friends, and what we call "the death of being forgotten." Each chapter presents a deeply emotional journey, guiding players through themes of grief, acceptance, and remembrance.
Players take on the role of Aoi, the new owner of his late father’s family restaurant, Re-live, a place where dishes can bring back lost memories. To fulfill each customer’s request, Aoi must navigate between reality and the realm of memories, solving intricate puzzles to uncover key ingredients hidden within the past. The challenge lies in gathering all the necessary elements before time runs out—failure to do so will result in an incomplete dish, reflecting how certain memories may fade or become inaccessible over time.
The outcome of each level is shaped by the player’s ability to retrieve these memory fragments and solve critical puzzles. Some endings may provide closure, while others may leave lingering regrets, emphasizing the fragility of memory and the importance of treasuring the present. Through this interactive experience, we hope to encourage meaningful discussions about loss, healing, and the ways we choose to remember those who have passed.
