隨著社會的快速變遷，為人類社會的發展帶來不少的挑戰，而近年來各國政府推動永續及環保材料，並鼓勵使用再生能源、可回收或對環境友善的材料。每年台灣修剪果樹的枝幹到達24萬公噸以上，其枝幹常常面臨焚燒或破碎的處理方式，這不僅浪費了大量可再利用資源，還對環境造成了不小的影響。因此，如何將這些廢棄木材轉化為有價值的產品，且既能發揮其應有的經濟效益，又能符合現代設計思維和永續政策，成為了關鍵課題。
而為迎合現今大環境及政策的轉變，本研究是回收農業廢棄木加工所製作而成的家具，將回收的農業廢棄木轉變為實用、且具有永續價值的居家桌椅。這樣不僅可以有效的減少資源浪費，還響應了環保和資源循環利用的概念，期望透過農業廢棄木所再生的桌椅，可以讓大眾了解農業廢棄木其獨特的紋理和顏色，賦予廢棄木新的生命與價值。
With the rapid changes in society, which has brought many challenges to the development of human society, in recent years, governments around the world have promoted sustainable and environmentally friendly materials, and encouraged the use of renewable, recyclable or environmentally friendly materials. More than 240,000 metric tons of fruit trees are pruned every year in Taiwan, and their branches are often burned or broken, which not only wastes a lot of reusable resources, but also has a great impact on the environment. Therefore, how to transform these waste wood into valuable products, which can not only play its due economic benefits, but also comply with modern design thinking and sustainability policies, has become a key issue.
In order to meet the changes in the current environment and policies, this study is to recycle furniture made from agricultural waste wood, and transform recycled agricultural waste wood into practical and sustainable home tables and chairs. This can not only effectively reduce the waste of resources, but also respond to the concept of environmental protection and resource recycling, and hope that through the tables and chairs regenerated from agricultural waste wood, the public can understand the unique texture and color of agricultural waste wood, and give new life and value to waste wood.
