近年來，空氣污染與疫情後遺症的雙重影響，讓全球呼吸道健康問題日益嚴峻。根據世界衛生組織資料顯示，空污中的PM2.5和氮氧化物等有害物質，已成為誘發慢性阻塞性肺病及其他慢性呼吸道疾病的重要因素。而慢性阻塞性肺病目前影響全球超過3.8億人，已成為全球第四大死因，每年導致超過300萬人死亡。此外，COVID-19不僅直接導致急性呼吸道症狀，長期後遺症更使患者呼吸困難與肺功能下降，進一步加劇健康負擔。
傳統噴霧器廣泛應用，能幫助患者控制病情與緩解症狀。然而，目前國內市場上的外出型噴霧器僅有手持式，且最大痛點為使用時需單手持握約20分鐘，每日至少3次，相當於一天需空出超過1小時在緩解不舒適上，以及噴霧器外觀過於醫療化，使得用戶不願帶出門使用，對於需要兼顧工作與生活的患者而言相當不便。

In recent years, the combined impact of air pollution and post-pandemic complications has made global respiratory health issues increasingly severe. According to data from the World Health Organization, harmful substances such as PM2.5 and nitrogen oxides in air pollution have become major factors in the development of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and other chronic respiratory conditions. COPD currently affects over 380 million people worldwide and ranks as the fourth leading cause of death, claiming more than 3 million lives annually. Additionally, COVID-19 not only causes acute respiratory symptoms but also leaves long-term complications, such as breathing difficulties and reduced lung function, further increasing the burden on respiratory health.
Traditional sprayers are widely used to help patients manage their conditions and relieve symptoms. However, the biggest drawbacks of portable nebulizers in the domestic market are that they are only available in handheld designs, requiring users to hold the device for about 20 minutes per session, at least three times a day—equating to over an hour dedicated to symptom relief. Furthermore, their overly medical appearance discourages users from carrying them in public, making them inconvenient for individuals who need to balance work and daily life.
We designed this Nebulizer Face Mask specifically for busy individuals, such as drivers, allowing users to relieve bronchial discomfort while working, driving, or managing household tasks—without interrupting their activities.
