本設計以台灣五大山峰為靈感，融合工業設計與永續理念，打造一款兼具自然意象與環保概念的臥香座與流香座。材料選用廢棄咖啡渣與石膏，透過再生工藝賦予廢棄資源新價值，響應SDGs第12項「責任消費與生產」，強調環境永續與資源循環的重要性。
設計核心圍繞山形與倒影的虛實共生之美，融合太極虛實哲學中的陰陽意象。黑色基座象徵「實」，如山巒堆疊，承載大地的厚重與穩定；白色煙霧則象徵「虛」，隨燃香縹緲流轉纏繞山形如同倒影映現虛無，體現天地流轉的平衡。這種黑白對比不僅回應太極圖的陰陽互生，也深化對虛實概念的詮釋。
此外，以金屬材質的小山香插作為點綴提升層次感與視覺張力，使整體造型更具層次與質感，同時增添工藝美感。燃香時，煙霧繚繞於山形之間，營造沉靜冥想的氛圍，讓使用者在日常生活中感受自然的平衡與內在的寧靜。
此設計不僅是一件家居擺件，更是一種生活態度的體現。透過燃香的儀式感與再生材料應用，讓人們在使用產品的同時，也能反思資源利用與環境永續的價值，將傳統文化、自然美學與現代設計相結合，為日常生活帶來更深層的哲思與感受。
Inspired by Taiwan’s five major mountain peaks, this design integrates industrial design with sustainability to create an incense holder and incense burner that embody both natural imagery and eco-friendly principles. Using recycled coffee grounds and gypsum, the design repurposes discarded materials through regenerative craftsmanship, aligning with SDG 12: “Responsible Consumption and Production,” emphasizing the importance of environmental sustainability and resource circulation.
The design core revolves around the interplay of solidity and void, embodying the philosophy of Yin and Yang in Tai Chi. The black base symbolizes “solidity,” resembling mountain ridges stacked upon one another, representing the earth’s weight and stability. The white smoke, symbolizing “void,” gently rises and weaves around the mountain form, mirroring an ephemeral reflection and embodying the harmony of cyclical transformation in nature. This black-and-white contrast not only reflects the balance of Yin and Yang but also deepens the interpretation of presence and emptiness.
Additionally, a small metal mountain incense holder serves as an accent, enhancing the design’s layering and visual depth while adding a refined artisanal touch. As the incense burns, the drifting smoke envelops the mountain form, creating a serene and meditative atmosphere, allowing users to experience the equilibrium of nature and an inner sense of tranquility in everyday life.
This design is more than just a home accessory—it is a reflection of a mindful lifestyle. By integrating the ritual of incense burning with sustainable materials, it encourages users to reconsider resource utilization and environmental responsibility. Blending traditional culture, natural aesthetics, and contemporary design, it brings a deeper philosophical and sensory experience to daily life.
