「零至零」的命名概念是希望駕駛經過高路殺路段降低速度將路殺發生機率降至零，且呼應我們第二階段的零件，形成一個無限的循環設計來示意讓生態永續發展。
標準字中的「零」上方設計為無限符號，象徵生態永續的同時也寓意駕駛人能如動物般敏銳，洞察路面狀況，及時發現動物穿越。下方則延伸出帶有透視效果的綿延道路，呈現無盡延續的意象。透過這兩個視覺元素，我們希望向駕駛人傳達「零路殺」的理念，實現「零至零」的目標。
在視覺主軸上，我們以柏油路面與雙黃線作為主視覺的核心概念，特意將其設計為碎裂的效果，並拼湊出台灣常見的路殺物種，如穿山甲、陸蟹與青蛙等，以此展現動物遭受車輛碾壓後的破碎感，讓觀者能一眼直擊路殺議題的嚴重性，進而喚起同理心與行動意識。
此外，我們也設計了一款便於攜帶、易於閱讀的「路殺物種手冊」，內容包含常見的路殺物種、通報方式與路殺熱點資訊，讓民眾能夠在日常生活中隨時記錄並回報路殺事件，進一步提升公眾參與度。我們希望透過這樣的設計與宣導，讓每一位駕駛與行人都能意識到自身對生態環境的影響，進而共同關注並改善路殺問題，讓我們的道路成為人與動物都能安心通行的友善環境。
The naming concept of “Zero to Zero” is to reduce the speed of drivers passing through high roadkill road sections to reduce the chance of roadkill to zero, and echoing the second phase of our parts, forming an infinite loop design to symbolize the sustainable development of the ecology.
The infinite symbol above the word “zero” in the standard character symbolizes ecological sustainability and also implies that the driver can be as sensitive as an animal, detecting road conditions and spotting animals crossing the road in a timely manner. The lower part of the road is a continuous road with a perspective effect, symbolizing the endless continuity of the road. Through these two visual elements, we hope to convey the concept of “Zero Roadkill” to drivers and realize the goal of “Zero to Zero”.
On the visual axis, we used the asphalt road surface and double yellow lines as the core concept of the main visual, which are deliberately designed to be cracked, and pieced together common roadkill species in Taiwan, such as pangolin, land crabs, and frogs, to show the crushing feeling of the animals after being run over by the vehicles, so that the viewers can directly hit on the seriousness of the roadkill issue at a glance, and then arouse their empathy and sense of action.
In addition, we have also designed a portable and easy-to-read “Roadkill Species Handbook”, which contains information on common roadkill species, notification methods and roadkill hotspots, so that the public can record and report roadkill incidents at any time in their daily lives, thus further enhancing public participation. We hope that through this design and publicity, every driver and pedestrian can realize their own impact on the ecological environment and then pay attention to and improve the roadkill problem together, so that our roads can become a friendly environment where both people and animals can pass through with peace of mind.
