The story depicts the interaction between a steady-minded cat and an energetic, enthusiastic dog. The cat is maintaining and testing a rocket spaceship cobbled together from farmyard materials. As a space enthusiast, the dog's curiosity leads him to ignore the cat's warnings and break into the cockpit, pressing buttons randomly and triggering various strange functions. After the cat scolds the dog, she accidentally activates the launch button, causing the spaceship to take off. In the critical moment, the dog steps up and tries different functions to maintain flight. When the cat wakes up and acknowledges the dog's efforts, the dog's overexcited hug causes the ship to lose control and crash. Finally, they safely return to the farm, playfully chasing each other as usual.
