永續發展、循環經濟一直為國內外經年不衰的議題,隨著對不可再生能源枯竭和全球氣溫上升的日益關注,時至今日更是眾所矚目的焦點,農林廢棄物作為可再生的資源被科學界廣泛重視。台灣的農林資源非常豐富,產生的農林廢棄物相當可觀,在地屏東縣盛產洋蔥,剝下的洋蔥皮成了大量農林廢棄物,造成環境汙染,變廢為寶,將洋蔥皮加工製成防焰複合粒片板,對資源循環、永續再生作出貢獻。

Agricultural and forestry waste is widely valued by the scientific community as a renewable resource. Taiwan's agricultural and forestry resources are very rich, and the agricultural and forestry waste produced is quite considerable. Onions are abundant in Pingdong County, and the peeled onion skins become a large amount of agricultural and forestry waste, causing environmental pollution and turning waste into treasure. Onion skins are processed into flame-proof composite granular plates, which contributes to resource circulation and sustainable regeneration.

After adding onion peel, it can also be improved and become the most suitable material for cultural relics boxes.

The plate is presented with a sense of nature, highlighting the onion peel texture, taking into account the flame prevention effect, and protecting its collection.
