本案在調查與拆除的基礎上，保留部分舊建築並加入單車元素，融合歷史鐵路遺跡，透過綠廊環境與多元單車空間的串聯，讓使用者感受屬於這片土地的獨特聲音。自行車道作為連接城市邊緣與核心的橋梁，重新啟動單車族、建築與自然之間的對話。這樣的設計不僅回應過去的繁榮，也喚醒被遺忘的建築群，讓其在現代都市的語境中重獲新生。
希望透過場域與環境的關聯，讓這片空間重現其歷史與文化價值，並為單車族提供一個既能休憩又能深刻體驗城市與自然交融的場所。這樣的設計，讓高雄的歷史與現代風貌在騎行過程中交織融合，帶來獨特的城市探索體驗。
Kaohsiung, a city that combines mountains, rivers, seaports and rich cultural heritage, allows cyclists to explore the different levels of the city through osmotic travel. As a low-carbon and flexible mode of travel, cycling provides an opportunity to travel through the urban periphery and core, allowing people to personally experience undeveloped historical sites and natural landscapes. This way of traveling not only looks back at past history, but also looks forward to future development, allowing cyclists to become witnesses of the city’s history and gain a deep understanding of Kaohsiung’s cultural context.
Based on investigation and demolition, this case retains some old buildings and adds bicycle elements, integrating historical railway relics. Through the connection of green corridor environment and multiple bicycle spaces, users can feel the unique sound of this land. The bicycle lane serves as a bridge connecting the edge and core of the city, restarting the dialogue between cyclists, buildings and nature. Such a design not only responds to the prosperity of the past, but also awakens the forgotten buildings and allows them to be reborn in the context of a modern city.
We hope that through the connection between the site and the environment, this space can reproduce its historical and cultural value, and provide cyclists with a place to rest and deeply experience the integration of city and nature. This design allows Kaohsiung's history and modern features to be intertwined during the cycling process, bringing a unique city exploration experience.
