傳統的北管音樂正處於消失的邊緣，而西方電子音樂則蓬勃發展。雖然這兩種音樂形式都已經存在超過200年，但它們的發展路徑卻截然不同。因此，我們正在嘗試將這兩種音樂文化融合，創造出一種全新的風格，為人們提供一種全新的方式來體驗北管音樂。
這首曲子《放不下的嘴角》事由北管有名的曲牌《風入松》進行改編，曲中展現出事情成功的喜悅，告白成功、求婚成功、考試上榜，或是投出絕殺的三分球，彷彿全世界都在為我鼓掌，告訴自己不能太張揚，卻又無法將上翹的嘴下彎，索性就將好心情嶄露在外吧。
Traditional Beiguan music is on the verge of disappearing, while Western electronic music is flourishing. Although both have been around for over 200 years, they have evolved in vastly different ways. That's why we're experimenting with blending these two musical cultures to create a new style, giving people a fresh way to experience Beiguan music.
The piece "Grin from ear to ear" is an adaptation of the well-known Beiguan melody "Wind in the Pines." It captures the joy of success—whether it's confessing your love and being accepted, proposing and getting a "yes," passing an important exam, or making a game-winning three-pointer. It feels as if the whole world is cheering for you.
You try to stay humble, telling yourself not to be too showy, but no matter what, you just can't stop the corners of your mouth from curling up. So why not let your happiness shine through?
