當代建築設計的核心價值之一，是如何在改造空間時，保留歷史建築的文化記憶，並透過創新手法賦予其新的生命。針對原有放置機台的漏斗建築，我們選擇尊重其獨特的工業結構與美學語彙，並透過現代設計技法加以強化，使其不僅維持原始特色，更展現新的視覺張力與空間魅力。
在改造過程中，我們運用中庭設計來打破傳統封閉式工業建築的沉重感，使空間產生更強烈的通透與穿透效果。透過巧妙的開口設計與光影引導，自然光線得以自由進入建築內部，創造出變化豐富的明暗層次，為場域注入生動的光影韻律。這樣的設計不僅放大了建築的壯麗感，也讓視覺體驗更加開闊流暢，使人們能夠在空間中自由穿梭，感受歷史與現代的交融。
此外，我們透過材質的對比運用，進一步強化漏斗建築的幾何美感。運用玻璃、金屬與原始混凝土等不同材質的交錯搭配，使建築既保有工業遺跡的粗獷感，又展現當代設計的細膩層次。同時，透過動線規劃與視角引導，讓人們能夠以不同的方式探索這座空間，從不同的角度感受其獨特的歷史紋理與結構之美。
這樣的設計策略，不僅讓這座建築重新煥發生命，也使其成為象徵創新與文化傳承的標誌。當人們走進這個空間時，將不只是見證一座工業建築的轉變，更能在其中感受到時間流轉的詩意，體驗建築所承載的歷史情感與未來願景。
One of the core values of contemporary architectural design is preserving the cultural memory of historical structures while breathing new life into them through innovative techniques. In the transformation of the original funnel-shaped building that once housed machinery, we chose to honor its unique industrial structure and aesthetic language. By incorporating modern design strategies, we not only retained its original characteristics but also enhanced its visual impact and spatial charm.
To break away from the heaviness of traditional enclosed industrial architecture, we implemented a central atrium design, creating a stronger sense of openness and spatial permeability. Through carefully planned openings and strategic light guidance, natural sunlight is allowed to flow freely into the interior, generating a rich interplay of light and shadow. This dynamic effect not only amplifies the building’s grandeur but also enhances the visual experience, allowing visitors to navigate the space effortlessly while immersing themselves in the dialogue between history and modernity.
Additionally, we emphasized the geometric beauty of the funnel structure through a contrast of materials. By integrating glass, metal, and raw concrete, the building maintains its industrial heritage while showcasing contemporary refinement. Thoughtfully designed circulation paths and visual perspectives invite visitors to explore the space in multiple ways, offering diverse vantage points to appreciate the structure’s historical depth and architectural brilliance.
