隨著全球對環境可持續性的關注日益增加，傳統皮革製作過程中涉及的有害化學物使用、廢物產生均會對環境造成巨大危害。為此，基於可再生資源的生物纖維材料，如細菌纖維素，逐漸成為一種具有潛力的皮革替代品。以細菌纖維素為核心材料，並延續部分傳統皮革製程，透過微生物發酵技術製作「生物仿皮膜」材料。以工藝融合科技，創造符合當代對於永續材料的想像。
本作品將傳統皮革與生物仿皮膜結合，希望透過創新材料展現，重新定義「皮革」在這個世代中所代表的意義。在設計方面，以低調時尚的包款設計，展現永續、創新與高端質感間的融合，吸引相關市場與受眾。
透過本作品，我們希望傳遞一種全新的時尚態度——在創新與永續之間取得平衡，讓未來時尚不再以犧牲環境為代價，而是成為真正負責任的設計選擇。
"Have you ever thought that when leather becomes no longer provided by animals..."
With the increasing global attention to environmental sustainability, the traditional leather production process involves the use of harmful chemicals and the generation of waste will all cause great harm to the environment. To this end, bio-fiber materials based on renewable resources, such as bacterial cellulose, have gradually become a potential substitute for leather.
With bacterial cellulose as the core material, and continuing some traditional leather processes, "bio-imitation leather film" materials are made through microbial fermentation technology. Technology is integrated with craftsmanship to create a contemporary imagination of sustainable materials.
This work combines traditional leather with biological imitation leather film, hoping to redefine the meaning of "leather" in this generation through innovative materials. In terms of design, it uses a low-key and fashionable bag design to show the integration of sustainability, innovation and high-end texture to attract relevant markets and audiences.
Through this work, we hope to convey a new fashion attitude-to strike a balance between innovation and sustainability, so that future fashion will no longer come at the expense of the environment, but become a truly responsible design choice.
