「平靜日常中,逐漸崩壞顯露出異樣,經歷了顛狂與恐慌後,又在暖意中重獲曙光。」是這部片的配樂核心概念。

配樂的部分,在第一段中使用純樸的鋼琴音色、三拍子節奏的圓舞曲型配樂,使用較為柔和的手法,描繪一段看似普通且明媚的生活氛圍。在第二段的呈現中,開始隨著主角的心理狀態崩毀而逐漸詭譎躁動,並在逃回家的一瞬間戛然而止。第三段則是巨大恐慌中夾帶的溫柔與療傷,鋼琴運用tape wobble等效果器使音色有異樣扭曲效果,延續主角內心不安定的情緒,並用小調和弦進行展現主角渴望平靜卻無法達成的狀態。隨著主角的傷口中冒出花與小兔子,音樂也慢慢變得豐富生動,以中性的小七和弦開始過渡,逐漸轉至色彩明亮的關係大調。

在音效設計的部分,非現實畫面的段落,則以phaser、pitch shifter等效果器將水聲、人聲等聲響扭曲,讓溶解及混雜的聲響營造出心理崩解的失衡狀態。並隨著主角越加恐懼的心境變化下,以手動拉automation的方式,使各類效果器參數做出強烈變化,讓音效能跟隨畫面呈現做疊加及設計,使劇情節奏感推向高潮。
另外為求真實,角色日常動作以擬音(foley)的方式,對著畫面錄製了腳步聲、衣物摩擦、美工刀等人物動作和物品音效做演繹,以呈現情境的真實感,以達到虛實轉換的效果。

The core concept of this film’s soundtrack is: “Amidst a seemingly tranquil daily life, fractures gradually emerge, leading to madness and panic before warmth finally restores a glimmer of hope.”
For the music, the first section features a simple piano timbre and a waltz-like triple meter, using a gentle approach to depict an atmosphere of ordinary yet bright daily life. In the second section, as the protagonist’s psychological state collapses, the music grows increasingly eerie and agitated, culminating in an abrupt stop at the moment they flee home. The third section intertwines overwhelming panic with warmth and healing, with the piano processed through effects like tape wobble, creating a warped, distorted timbre that extends the protagonist’s emotional instability. Minor chord progressions emphasize their longing for peace that remains unattainable. As flowers and rabbits emerge from their wounds, the music gradually grows richer and more dynamic, transitioning from neutral minor-seventh chords to a relative major key, brightening the tonal landscape and signaling a shift toward emotional resolution.
For the sound design, surreal sequences employ effects such as phaser and pitch shifter to manipulate water sounds, human voices, and other auditory elements, creating a sensation of dissolution and chaotic blending that mirrors psychological breakdown. As the protagonist’s fear intensifies, manual automation adjustments dynamically shift effect parameters, allowing the sound layers to evolve alongside the visuals, pushing the pacing toward its climax. These shifting elements reflect the protagonist’s inner turmoil, ensuring that the auditory experience remains deeply intertwined with the narrative’s progression.
To enhance realism, foley recording was used for everyday character movements. Footsteps, rustling clothes, utility knife sounds, and other object interactions were carefully performed and recorded in sync with the visuals, reinforcing authenticity and facilitating a seamless transition between reality and surreality. The precise execution of these foley elements ensures that even the most minute sounds contribute to the immersive nature of the film’s sonic landscape.
