JIANG4 redefines certificates as a visual communication system. In contemporary society, emotional expression and appreciation are gradually fading, making relationships more distant and ambiguous. This project transforms this condition into a visual language, translating emotions and communication states into recognizable forms.
The system is based on five modes—expression, coordination, emotion, repair, and refusal—each developed into symbols and certificate formats, allowing situations to be categorized and understood visually. Through abstract graphics and structured layouts, the design extends the formal language of traditional certificates while introducing emotional meaning.
By turning awarding into a communicative act, JIANG4 enables emotions to be seen and responded to, rebuilding the weight of human connection.
