第一次當惡房東就上手

為尋求發展而北漂，已成台灣普遍現象；在大台北暫居生活，「租屋」成為多數人切身而共同的生活經驗。租屋經歷長期為社群討論焦點，除政策層面的缺口外，遭遇「惡房東」亦成為許多租屋者反覆面對的現實困境。
雖無法透過設計改變政策，我們可以透過設計揭示惡房東手段，引導租屋者學會識別陷阱、培養租賃意識與應對能力。平鋪直敘的說教難以引發共鳴，我們以「知己知彼」為策略，設計多種互動體驗，從紙本到數位、從特殊印刷到沉浸裝置，代入房東視角拆解話術與制度漏洞。
我們希望透過調查與設計，讓觀者在荒謬操作中看清租屋背後的權力運作，引起大眾對於租屋結構問題的關注，讓台灣的租屋市場變得更好。希望減少租屋生活的不安與對抗，讓每一個人在異鄉的租屋者都得以安居。

Evil Landlord

In Taiwan, moving to the Taipei metropolitan area in search of better opportunities—often called the "Northbound Drift", many young migrants share the common experience of renting. Encounters with “evil landlords” have also become a recurring predicament. Adopting the strategy of “know thyself, know thy enemy,” the work enters the landlords’ perspective and dissects the rhetoric and loopholes embedded in the rental system. Through deliberately absurd scenarios, viewers see how power operates beneath everyday negotiations and are prompted to reflect on structural problems within the housing market.
