Meow Village is a visual communication project that transforms cat care knowledge into an accessible reading experience through illustrated storytelling. Targeting first-time cat owners, it focuses on common misconceptions and improper care practices, and explores their impact on cats’ health and well-being.
The project uses illustrations and short comics as its main information design approach, replacing text-heavy formats. By embedding knowledge into narrative scenarios, it enables intuitive and engaging learning while improving understanding and retention.
It aims to enhance public awareness of cats’ needs, correct misunderstandings, and encourage responsible and empathetic care. The project also demonstrates the potential of story-driven visual design in everyday education, and extends into a series of themed visual merchandise.
